Holiday Boutique in Lakewood!

Come by my booth on Saturday, November 13th from 10am to 4pm at Lakewood First United Methodist Church - 4300 Bellflower Blvd in Lakewood. Lots of great products perfect for that little princess or prince in your life!

Flower Clippies and Headbands

I believe in the products I create, but have recently have some requests for silk flower clippies and headbands. I make all of my bows and/or flowers on clips for multi-use purposes. Each clip can be added on to a different colored crocheted headband creating a different look with each wear, and when your child outgrows their headband(s), you can use the clip on her ponytail or pigtails. Even you mom, can clip it in your hair for a sassy look!

New Products!

I'm very excited to announce the arrival of some new creations I've been working on lately!

I've recently added boys and girls paci clips. Just started making them, so I'm sure the more I make, the bigger and better they'll become!

Under Construction - New Changes Coming SOON!

I've been on hiatus, please forgive me. Working on a few new things for the boutique and still trying to complete my website. I'm building it from scratch and I keep changing my mind on the design, oh man, the choices! :)

You might find that the blog will undergo a few changes, please be patient. I am a mommy to an 8 month old daughter and working from home so I will probably get things done just a tad bit slower, lol.

Happy Mother's Day!

Since the birth of my miracle child, Reese, I have had such a good outlook on life. She has made my life so complete and yesterday was a day I never thought would ever come - Mother's Day and I was able to celebrate it!

Me? A momma?!?! YES! I am and I am so grateful.

Pleasantly Suprised!

So my hubby optimistcally encouraged me to pursue a little girl's boutique and here I am, never knowing that most of my orders would actualy be for grown women! I guess there is an inner "princess" in all of us!

Busy Days Ahead...

Since receiving my first order, I have been literally go, go, go! Well, the hustle and bustle started way before then but now it's even busier.

I use to spend my days at home with my daughter or mother/daughter gatherings with my other mommy friends. I now have very little time to myself, but that's OK. This is my 2nd job, being a mommy will always come first - not to mention trying to help the shelter animals...

Yesterday was almost a 20-hour straight day for me, I suppose it is going to be like that for a while until I have my website launched, as well as my records and accounting junk set up and in order. I love the challenge of creating this whole thing from scratch and as I often say, "building this from scratch, has surely left me scratching my head in confusion". But! that's part of the exhileration. I'm not one to just sit around and wait for an opportunity to come to me, I'm going out there to grab it before someone else does. Call me competative, but the only person I'm competing with is myself. Often I feel discouraged or unsure about my new plans or business ventures, but then I tell myself that I will only get out of this what I put in to it. It's so true. My 20-hour days WILL PAY OFF! :)

To Be A Mommy...

Is the greatest gift I could have ever been given. Reese Nicole-Frances, was born on the 2 year anniversary of my father's passing, turning November 24th from a day of mourning, in to a day of celebration - a celebration of LIFE.

I didn't think I was ever going to be able to conceive a child. It took almost 4 years, but we were truly blessed with such an amazing child. Because I was about to be a mommy, I learned to be healthy for the first time in almost 15 years. I stretched beyond my own comfort zone, faced my insecurities that I buried ALIVE and flat out became a different woman - a healthy woman.

My daughter changed my life the moment I found out I was pregnant. She saved me. She saved my relationship. She turned me from this little girl in to a WOMAN.

To be a mommy, means sacrifice. I sacrifice, I protect, I love unconditionally, I nurture - all because I AM A MOMMY <3
